Italian cooking, just like at Nonna's.
At Trattoria Oliva we have been cooking in the heart of Lübeck's old town since 1998: antipasti, homemade pasta, wood-fired pizza and dolci — family-run, warm and with ingredients from Italy and the region.

Antipasti
To begin: house-marinated olives, grilled vegetables, bruschetta and changing starters from the kitchen. Perfect for sharing over a glass of wine.
Homemade pasta
Made fresh daily from durum wheat: from tagliatelle to filled ravioli and the classics with ragù. We roll, fill and cut it all by hand.
Wood-fired pizza
Thin, airy and baked in minutes in the roughly 400-degree wood-fired oven. With slow-proved dough and ingredients we choose with care.
Our story on Marlesgrube
It all began in 1998, when the Esposito family from Apulia opened the doors of an old merchant's house on Marlesgrube. With grandmother's recipes, a brick wood-fired oven and the belief that good food needs time, hands and heart, a small eatery grew into a fixed meeting point in Lübeck's old town.
To this day we stand at the stove ourselves, roll the pasta by hand and fire up the wood oven every morning. Whether for a quick lunch, a long dinner with friends or an espresso in the afternoon — with us you are welcome to stay as long as you like.

- Two changing pasta dishes daily, one of them vegetarian
- Served with a small market salad and a glass of water
- Wood-fired pizza at a special lunch price
- Espresso to finish included
