Questions before your first visit
Reservations, opening hours, groups, children: here are the answers our guests ask us most often on the phone – so your evening can start without any back-and-forth.
The essentials at a glance
We cook Tuesday to Sunday, lunch and dinner, with Monday as our rest day. Everything else – table, group, high chair – we're happy to sort out over the phone.
Book a table
We take reservations by phone and e-mail – for dinner and for lunch.

How to get a table
We seat walk-in guests whenever a table is free – though on weekends and in the evening, a quick call to +49 30 23125106 is almost always worth it.
- 1
Call or write
By phone at +49 30 23125106 or by e-mail to ciao@trattoria-oliva.invalid – with your preferred day, time and party size.
- 2
We check availability
We'll tell you what's available at your preferred time and, if we're fully booked, suggest an alternative close to your requested slot.
- 3
Get your confirmation
Your table is confirmed with the time. We'll note any special requests, such as a high chair, a celebration table, or food intolerances, right away.
- 4
Let us know about changes
If your plans change – later, smaller or larger – a quick call is all it takes. That way your table stays reserved and we can plan the kitchen accordingly.
With children and in groups
We're a family business, and you can tell by the noise level: children are as much a part of our lunch service as our Sunday evenings, and we plan larger groups together with you beforehand.
Families with children
We're happy to provide a high chair and smaller pasta portions. Just let us know how many children will be joining when you reserve.
Groups with several tables
For larger parties we arrange tables together and agree on a small selection of dishes in advance, so everyone can eat at the same time.
Family celebrations
Christening, birthday or anniversary: we'll work out the details, timing and size together, with dates by arrangement.
Quick answers
What guests ask us on the phone
Six questions come up almost every day: a table for the same evening, a group of eight or more, the lunch table, children at the table, intolerances and the question about the wood-fired oven. You'll find the answers here just as we give them on the phone.
Didn't find your question?
Send us a quick message about what it's regarding – we usually reply the same day on days we're open. For a table, it's best to use the reservation directly.
