Trattoria in Lübeck's old town

Lunch in the old town

From Tuesday to Friday we cook a changing daily dish between 12:00 and 14:30 – homemade pasta, antipasti and pizza from the wood-fired oven, all within a single lunch break.

Mondays are our day off. On Saturdays and Sundays we're open from 12:00, but with our regular menu rather than the lunch menu.

What makes our lunch special

At lunchtime we cook with whatever the morning's shopping brings: a changing dish, alongside the classics from our menu. Service is quick, so your break is enough.

Changing daily dish

Every lunchtime, a different dish takes centre stage – often homemade pasta, sometimes a braised dish, sometimes pizza from the wood-fired oven. We'll tell you what's on today at the table.

Fast service

The daily dish is prepped and pizzas go straight into the wood-fired oven. If you're in a hurry, just let us know when you sit down – we'll bring your drink and plate together.

Always a vegetarian option

Alongside the daily dish, there's a vegetarian option every lunchtime. If you have any intolerances, just let us know – we'll tell you openly what's in the dish.

Smaller portions available

We're happy to serve pasta and pizza in smaller portions on request – for children, for a smaller appetite, or if a dolce is still to follow.

From our kitchen

Pasta made fresh every morning

We roll and cut the pasta in-house before the first lunch guest arrives. Whatever isn't served at lunch isn't carried over to the next day.

How your lunch break works with us

If you have a fixed break, it's best to let us know in advance – that way your table is ready when you arrive, and the half hour isn't lost to waiting.

  1. 1

    Request a table

Call +49 30 23125106 or send your request via our reservation form. Let us know the time and number of guests – for larger groups, a day's notice helps us.

  2. 2

    Take a seat

Marlesgrube 14, right in the heart of the old town. Your table is set, with water and bread already waiting.

  3. 3

Choose your dish of the day

We'll tell you at the table what's on offer today, along with the vegetarian option. If you'd rather have pizza or pasta from the menu, that's available too.

  4. 4

    Back on time

Let us know when you sit down what time you need to leave. We'll plan the service and the bill accordingly – you can pay at the table.
