Process
How your table request works
A request submitted through the form is not yet a fixed reservation – it reaches us as soon as service allows, and is then entered by hand into our table plan.
This plan hangs in the dining room and shows each of the roughly twenty tables with its size and seating time. Your table is only confirmed once we've replied to you.

You tell us the date, preferred time and number of guests. It also helps to know the occasion and any notes on high chairs, walkers or intolerances – we use this to guide our table selection.

We check which table suits the number of guests and the time. Tables for two are by the window, while larger groups are seated in the back dining area, where tables can be combined.

You'll get a response by e-mail or phone, usually the same or the following opening day. If your preferred time is booked, we'll suggest an earlier or later seating slot on the same evening.

Simply give the name of the reservation at the entrance. We hold the table for 20 minutes; if you'll be later, a quick call is enough to keep it reserved.
Time slots
Which times are worth choosing
We're open Tuesday to Sunday from 12:00 to 14:30 and from 17:30 to 22:30, with Monday as our closing day. Within these hours, some slots are noticeably busier than others – if you're flexible, it's easier to get your preferred table.
- 12:30 to 13:15, Tuesday to Friday: the busiest phase of the lunch service, with many guests from the old town. From around 13:15 it gets quieter, and the menu continues to run until 14:30.
- 17:30 to 18:30: the most relaxed time in the evening, good for families with children and for guests wanting to eat before a concert or theatre visit.
- 19:00 to 20:30: peak time, especially on Fridays and Saturdays. It's worth sending a request a few days ahead for these slots.
- From 21:00: tables often become available again; the wood-fired oven runs until shortly before closing, so pizza and dolci are still readily available.
- Sunday lunchtime: in high demand among larger family groups – this is when we most appreciate advance notice.

Take a look at the menu beforehand
Many things become clear before you even write to us. If you'd like to know whether the lunch menu fits your planned time, which pasta is currently on the menu, or how much space a celebration needs, you'll find the details on the following pages – and can then phrase your request more precisely.
